PRO AND AMATEUR TOURNAMENT INFORMATION FOR ATHLETES

Along with the Professional Night Jump event, we are hosting a 2-round Slalom and Jump tournament on Saturday for all skiers. 

Pro Entry Form and Amateur Entry Form

  • We are not accepting entries through USAWS! Enter through the
  • You can enter Amateur Slalom/Jump (Class R) or Pro jump event on this website. Entries are on a first come first serve basis and entry fees can be paid through Venmo to:
    @Tri-Lakes (Do not mark “Turn on for purchases”).
  • Deadline to enter is May 10th
  • Amateur entries are limited to 20 athletes. 

Pro Jump Format / Rules

      • All Open qualified skiers are welcome to enter.
      • Entry fee is $300
      • Men ramp height options: 5.5ft (1.65m) or 6ft (1.80m);
      • Women ramp height options:  5ft (1.50m) or 5.5ft (1.65m).
      • All Jumpers must compete in Round 1.
      • Top 5 Men & Top 4 Women from Round 1 advance to the finals.
      • Jumpers who have qualified to the Finals from Round 1 have the option to ski Round 2.
      • Jumpers finishing outside the above placements after Round 1 must compete in the Round 2 LCQ for the one remaining spot for the Final.
      • If a metric tie exists in Round 1 for the 5th spot in the Men's event a two jump tiebreaker will take place. The winner of this tie-breaker will advance to the Final, with the loser required to compete in the Round 2 LCQ.
      • If a metric tie exists in Round 1 for the 4th spot in the Women's event a two jump tiebreaker will take place. The winner of this tie-breaker will advance to the Final, with the loser required to compete in the Round 2 LCQ.
      • If a metric tie exists for the leading distance in the Men's Round 2 LCQ then the skier's distance recorded in Round 1 will be used as a tie-breaker to determine the final qualifier for the Final.
      • If a metric tie exists for the leading distance in the Women's Round 2 LCQ then the skier's distance recorded in Round 1 will be used as a tie-breaker to determine the final qualifier for the Final.
      • The running order for the 6 athlete Men's Final will consist of the Round 2 LCQ Qualifier starting first off the dock, followed by the Round 1 qualifiers ranked 5th through to 1st in that order.
      • The running order for the 5 athlete Women's Final will consist of the Round 2 LCQ Qualifier starting first off the dock, followed by the Round 1 qualifiers ranked 4th through to 1st in that order. 
      • Any necessary ramp height changes made during either of the Finals will not alter the running orders.
      • The Finals will be at night under lights. 

Prize Money Breakdown for Pro Men/Women Jump

Men - $15,000 Purse

  1. Place = $5,000
  2. Place = $3,500
  3. Place = $2,500
  4. Place = $1,500
  5. Place = $1,000
  6.  Place = $750
  7. Place = $500
  8.  Place = $250

Women - $12,000 Purse 

  1. Place = $5,000
  2. Place = $3,000
  3. Place = $2,000
  4. Place = $1,500
  5. Place = $500

Amateur Slalom and Jump

  • Entry fee is $100 for 2 rounds.
  • Entries are limited to the first 20 paid athletes.

Head-to-Head Slalom Final

  • Two skiers will be selected to ski Head-to-head Slalom in the show at dusk for Prize money.

Practice Information

  • Practice will be held on Friday 9th starting at 12pm.
  • Paid practice for the tournament will not be available until Friday at 12pm. 
  • Pro athletes take priority for practice. Each set is $25.
  • The lights will be on Friday Night for those to wish to practice after dark. There will be no charge for these sets.
